Was going to purchase, but after reading some of the recent reviews, it seems like the ball gets stuck easily and it just doesn't shoot well overall. Not purchasing for that reason.

I would counter with my experience as they do not jam provided you don't overload the internal loading mechanism. Although clearing jams is easy on this blaster compared to others I've experienced.

I did get the Perses on a deal a while back and that think is crazy fun (except for picking up afterwards).
I guess for 8 bucks it's something for the kids to play with on xmas. Definitely going to buy another bucket of 3rd party ammo on amazon though. (who knew nerf-branded tiny foam balls could be so expensive)

The 5 rounds was the main thing I questioned - is this normal for one of these? I thought most Nerf guns these days basically were like semi automatic clips or something? I'm super
