I have this bag but an older model - looks the same. Pre-Covid I was doing 140+ flights a year and it's still going strong after 7 years (I stopped travelling heavy when Covid hit - so 3 years of hard travel). Wheels held up good and haven't had issues.

Isnt 7.28 lbs quite heavy? I thought Samsonite themselves have some carry-on's that weigh around 4-5lbs.

Lots of carriers only allow 15lbs for carry-on. I probably dont want a case taking up half of the allowance.

I picked on up a couple of weeks ago for the same price. It's a solid piece and I'm happy with the purchase. I'll be trying it out in 2 weeks.

Does anyone here have experience with these angles dome shaped wheels. I don't see then on luggage very often. I usually go for the the Samsonite single wheels because they are super easy to drill out and replace when they wear out.

Bought it on the last deal a month ago and used it for a trip - all great, except it's not expandable.

Thanks. Yes this is standard for most airlines based on the article:

22" x 14" x 9" looks like the right size unless you're taking super budget airlines.

Is expandable "that" good compared to non-expandable?

Could you tell me more ?

In for one, thanks for the heads up. Still have some Samsonite luggage from the 80s that has held up to traveling around the world.
