I have this and it works great. It has a really large bucket which is really convenient. My only complaint with it is that there is no way to lower the volume on the beeper and it is quite loud. I end up pulling the basket out right before it runs out of time to circumvent it.

I have this and it works great. It has a really large bucket which is really convenient. My only complaint with it is that there is no way to lower the volume on the beeper and it is quite loud. I end up pulling the basket out right before it runs out of time to circumvent it.

Totally agree with your review. The fryer is really good in its operation and the beeper is loud.

8qt basket size works well for our family of 4 as well as entertaining guests.

Couple reviews say this product has a bad rubber smell while using it? Do you remember if you had that experience with the one you have?

We've had this, or previous model, for about 2-3 years and have no problems with the nonstick coating. Wiping out the interior with a paper towel only when ever possible. Also minimal use of SPRAY oil in the basket, we try to spray the food items before placing in basket whenever possible.
For any smell out of the box, I always try to run any oven type machines at least a couple of times before I put food to cook in them. Maybe on highest setting for 20 min, to burn up any residue left over from manufacturer.
Over all, very happy with this machine, just wish the temperature range would go above 400°.

I got this a few years ago from Best Buy around this time on sale like most people here did, and I don't recall having that. At least it didn't carry on past the first or second use of it.

Non stick, and no peeling after 3 years of use for me. But even if it did, at the cost of these air fryers on sale, it's worth it for the convenience to replace them as needed.
