Ego single stage snowblower with 7.5ah batteries. Seems like a great deal.
They also have the snowblower without batteries for those of you who have batteries for $263

Are they authorized seller for EGO? The batteries and charger are worth the price if this is legit.
Probably not. I cannot find the list, but it includes Amazon, HD, Lowe's, Ace hardware. I also found this site (same price), which looks to be very similar to the one posted: https://www.snowblowersdirect.com...14225.html

If you read about the companies under the Ferguson umbrella, there are a number of them and snow blowers direct and power equipment direct are 2 of them. Hope this helps.
These appear to be the old style batteries without the power bars. That said, 7.5 AH (unless you got the grainger deal) x2, charger, and the single-stage blower (does NOT get fantastic reviews. Everybody says get the 2 stage which is substantially more expensive) seems really good.
Can anybody shed some light if this is a great deal? I figure 2x 7.5 AH is worth at least 150 a battery nowadays, so 300. 168 for a light/medium snowblower and charger seems like a no brainer?

Both of those companies have a lot of crappy reviews, especially related to their customer service.
Of course, pissed off customers are more likely to go to the effort of posting a review, so they would skew negative.

Could always say it was a gift that you received.
Ego won't accept that without proof of receipt, even if it was a gift. And the receipt has to be from an authorized seller. I know because I've recently tried to warranty a less than a year old tool and battery

IMO this is a rip off the 2 stage doesn't cost THAT much more and is way more useful, if you insist on single stage then comparable 80v greenworks line with way more power are a better deal.
What do you value the included 2x 7.5ah batteries at?
Edit: Unless you're referring to the snowblower only for $263 or w/e. That I probably wouldn't buy. Considering the package with batteries just for the batteries.
