I really like this jigsaw, it works well. Though I don't have anything else to compare it to since it's the only one I've ever owned. Still, it does what I need/expect it to.

Milwaukee has never asked me for a receipt for warranty work, they just look at the serial number which has a date code in it.
Also general comment that I love this tool. It works so much faster than the cheap jigsaw it replaced. I can recommend it.
Very tempted to pick this one up. Old unit was a DeWALT and it did not want to take the replacement blades. Look up all types of YT videos and try different blades as well. There is a newer model but don't need

This is very true. I have the Rivet Gun and it I had some issues last year in Dec. They sent it off and got it fixed but that was the first thing they told me.

Receipt only matters if the manufacturing date is older than 5 years.
In for 1. Thanks. I confirm as well that Milwaukee does not ask for receipts, only serial number. I've sent a few tools, batteries and charger for warranty just with serial number and had no issues. Replacements on all.
