These are Blu-ray Discs and to be fair BBC releases its stuff in 4k and blu ray first without digital so you don't have an option.
Me. I have HDD full of movies but I have about 10,000 discs in my theater/video store. I don't PAY for streaming or long term rentals (what you call digital purchases for some reason). Physical media is preferred.
After what Sony just pulled with any digital shows you purchased with them on your PlayStation and now no longer can view, why are you so hard on digital?
Who still thinks a DVD player is the same thing as a Blu-Ray player? On top of that, blu-rays have significantly better video and audio quality than streaming. If you only stream, you're a poor chump. You're getting trash quality. Even 4K streams are only about the quality of a 1080p blu-ray. Not to mention you don't own anything you buy digitally. I like spending my money on things I actually own. Digital stuff can be, and has been, taken away. Sony just took away everyone's Discovery content that they bought through PlayStation.
