buyer beware: i had this mic for a couple months and had issues with audio crossover from the output to input at times — other players in game would be able to hear themselves and my game noise — which seemed odd given i was using closed M50x cans. I think there is some issue with the way it utilizes one wire — not 100% sure. It became so inconsistent to trouble shoot that i ended up switching over to the modmic.
This thing SUCKSSSS, Tried it with my Beats headphones for a while, barely would ever work, tried it with other headphones, couldn't get it to work either.
I mean, not everyone can figure out the complicated installation process of plugging something in.

I've had the same issue with multiple headsets. Really weird, cause I never seem to have this issue with work calls, zoom, etc.

I replace them maybe every 2-3 years.
