As soon as billionaires stop taking private planes to parties I'll consider getting rid of my environmentally-unfriendly conveniences.
I don't like waste and I prefer green options, but when I need to rush out the door and can't make a pour over or espresso the last thing I'm going to do is feel bad about a k-cup.
I know environmentalism isn't in the forefront of the average Slickdeals user, but please stop using Kcups. They are such a waste of plastic for each 8 oz cup of coffee. Even the creator of the K cup regrets unleashing these unrecyclable one time use pods on the world. Those old school brewers with a paper filter are really low maintenance as is and will generally taste much better and cost less per cup.
I use the "My Kcup" reusable pod with ground coffee and it's great. Stopped using the disposables many years ago.
There are many good grinders and they get very expensive. My personal favorite bang for buck are the Timemore C2/C3 series. Comparable to grinders 2-3x the price.
