Up till now I wasn't really interested in full frame given in addition to the prices of the full featured bodies, the EF/RF lenses are typically out of my budget, especially when looking for reach. Crop sensor and EF-S seems to be much more budget friendly, especially when looking for long reach, so over time I have been picking up either EF or EF-S when there is a deal, so that is the mix of glass that I own (all cheap and old stuff though). I figured I was stuck with Canon and would just need to save more towards the R7,, which looks like a badass crop sensor camera... with it's biggest limitation as with all crop sensor cameras being low light usage I think.
After seeing that people are having pretty good experiences with the Sigma MC-21 EF->L Mount adapter to use EF/EF-S lenses on the S5 II, including functioning electronics, autosetting APS-C mode, autofocus, IS sync, etc... I spontaneously jumped on the S5 II with seemingly popular 20-60mm kit lenses for $1685 (which with tax was $1802) which left just enough budget room to pick up that Sigma EF to L mount adapter to see for myself. I normally do a lot more research, but after missing out on the Canon refurb deals because I was researching... I jumped since there was only one of the S5 IIs at that price.
This R6 mkII deal is obv more expensive... the nonL $2300 kit deal specifically has me wondering...
Anyone looking at this deal that has an S5 II already, and for some reason is looking to replace it with this R6 mkII? I have been researching ever since placing that order, and so far a lot of people seem happy with all of the improvements of the S5 II over the original S5, with many replacing Canon and Sony systems with it, at least as a secondary... but I dunno if I am just getting sucked into youtube hype or if the S5 II is really comparable, or if I should sell some plasma or something to stretch my budget to this R6 mkII.
This is for hybrid / all around use BTW as a hobbyist, both video and photography, including family activities ; portrait kind of stuff, landscapes, product pics, run and gun video, some low light stuff, basically looking for one cam that is good enough for most common use cases, and will last me several years.

I wasn't sure how often the 90D bundle gets $799 with the upgraded lens, but it doesn't seem to be often if at all from the previous posts I can find (none
I have never had a Panny camera, but have heard good things off and on over the years, so at least I will have some first hand experience for at least a few weeks.
