And yes, I realize the model I bought was a refurb. Only had for about 24 hours but very happy with the laptop.

Yoga is lighter and is all metal while the flex is plastic at the bottom. 2x TB 4 on the Yoga vs 1x on the Flex.
These are some of the differences (or maybe all) that I could find and point out. Hope I helped.

Generally, Yogas are supposed to be all metal while Flex are plasticky, hence the former has a better built quality. The Yoga's usually had better displays but that line has been blurred. The former generally have a biggger battery too.
I used to think so as I well but last year when I was researching to buy a laptop, there were people on here who personally said they had broken hinge with yoga as well.

I'm happy with the Flex 7 I just bought and was also happy with the Flex 3 I am replacing. Will be on the look out for a Yoga if a solid deal comes across. Thanks for all your hard work finding these machines (especially touch screens)!
Now what I really want is a ROG Flow Z13 (with GPU of course) but I know that ain't happening at this price point.
If you look at threads about a year ago on every Lenovo thread, it was brought up with people claiming it happened to them. I don't see anything close to that with any other laptop maker. You tell me if that is disproportionate. Yes it was definitely more with Flex series, but the fact it has been reported with yoga series from the same company is certainly worrisome.
Like I said claims. You could insert (HP / Dell / MSI) into your same statement and it would be equally true from someone's subjective opinion of year old scuttlebutt from their own flawed memory and selective bias.
You
tell meprove if that is disproportionate.Non-inverter generators cause sensitive electronics to magically die, non Costco Wagyu beef is fake, and (random) laptop sucks. Typical day on SD and just as much evidence for these claims as bigfoot. Don't believe me...look it up.
