Yuck. Idk why Sony designed the PS5 with little to no thought to details. The disc drive is objectively an afterthought.

Xbox fan I see. Original PS5 makes the disc drive look integrated compared to the slim.

For a few bucks more you can get the stealth ones on Amazon that follow the front contour. Looks so much nicer!

These panels don't allow the air to flow as designed. If Sony wanted a vent there they would have added one.

To add insult to injury most games I buy on disc require a 50-100GB download before they can even be played, and unlike the digital edition, I have to insert the original disc to play the game which is supremely annoying.
