I bought this at the same deal a year or two ago. I thought it was a "great deal".

These newer batches of Aventus last about 4-5 hours tops, meanwhile the $30-60 clones of it last longer and smell just as good. I'm still mad it performs so poorly for what it costs.

Personally prefer more Mont Blanc Explorer than Club De Nuit as an Aventus clone. Receive significantly more compliments from it as well, but taste is subjective

Might want to check Nordstrom or Saks Fifth. Never seen it at Macy's or Sephoras. You can always order a sample at micro perfumes to try before you buy:

Agreed. I wonder if Absolu is an different with longevity.

Find a pre 2019 bottle, that's Adventus, this is what most will complain is a "fake" who have experienced this in the past.

A few years of Aventus were lackluster but the last one I bought this past spring was greatly improved. Within three months it's longevity was closer to 2018-19 performance.

Club de nuit by Armaf is a pretty good clone. I have aventus and aventus cologne and I think CDN lasts longer. Smells slightly more citrusy and "synthetic" though
