Not sure why anyone buys these new. They tank in price faster than anything. Not hard to find the exact same game with a year old roster for $10 or less

This should be the disc as there is an option for the digital copy but that is full price.

Same reason people buy the new COD, they want the small changes that happened and want the new and "best" version of the game. I have been playing an older version with my kid and it's a little weird to see the older rosters and how many players have changed teams. For $35 it's a great price for the game.

New cod you get multiplayer map updates, campaign, etc. Madden has been shown to be the SAME game with new rosters. AngryJoe's review shows this. They even used the same player reaction videos. The last few years nothing has really changed. I love madden. I have like the last 15 years but haven't gotten this one yet. Guess I'm just one of those that is going into a thread I have no interest in buying. Just curious as to why people do it and if they realize how similar they are.

I get it. I would guess new rosters and minor changes are similar to new maps and campaigns. They are both pretty much the same but each year the changes are pretty minor.

Since we are stuck on cod I would compare it to getting the new cod for the new guns. A new campaign is a pretty significant difference

COD is the probably the best non sports comparison because it comes out every year. If you are okay with the new minor changes in either game then getting it at half price is a great deal.
