I'd say no. The XM6s should come out next summer so you may want to wait. I imagine there will be minor improvements all around for the XM6s plus an answer to Bose's surround sound that you can use with any app. There will likely be enough new changes to justify an upgrade from XM4 to XM6

Nice, got the white (silver?) one. Total @254.11 after the red card 5% discount.

Was on edge about refurb on ebay deals, but seems a good price for new. Specifically the light one in color, it is usually excluded from most sales.

I want one for gaming. Can I plug the V-Moda BoomPro into it as an external mic while still getting stereo audio?

edit: I use a gaming laptop with a single combined input/output 3.5mm port.

For those who own the XM4 and XM5, is it worth upgrading? From what I've read the differences are minimal going up to the XM5. I love my XM4s. I use them a lot and wish the battery life was a little longer, but they are the best over the ear headphones I've owned.

Great deal. Lowest price this has been for brand new XM5s outside of the veteran/military deals

People's main gripe with these is that they don't fold up, right?
