I have a few of these. They're a bit flimsy feeling and probably not worth much more than $15, but once set up they can carry a lot of weight. I used them to pre-stain a lot of 16ft deck lumber and they held as much as I could fit on them without issue. Pretty good for that actually because of the thin top profile.

Yup. Same company. Same product.

These will stain your wood. Something about the paint rubs off on my wood. Not an issue for building materials. A problem for building shelves or other furniture grade work.

Based on the Q and A, this is a one piece for $15. The Stanley ones I got from ACE were a pair for $25. I would assume that you almost always need a pair for these to work lol

That's correct. Not to mention the fact these were under $13 a few months ago...there's value here but it's not the lowest price.

I picked up 2 of these in 2022 at $12.49 each. I use them all the time. Love the fact that they fold up and take very little space. They actually lock into each other, so that's a plus. They do feel a bit flimsy when opened, but under weight, I haven't had any stability issues. Would recommend.

Same feeling at the time of online order pickup, and thought it was for a pair instead of one :d. Grabbed another one anyway. They should serve light DIY need.

The listing says 750lb but that is the old model. Stanley discontinued that version and replaced it with the 1,000lb capacity under the same model number. Some Ace locations may have the old version in stock but most buyers in the other threads were given the new 1,000lb version, myself included. YMMV but if for some reason they give you the 750lb version just return it. The capacity is marked on each sawhorse opposite of the Stanley logo.

This could be a cheap stand for AR500 steel plates.

Worth the price. I got the lowes deal last year for $12 each and they hold up well for ripping 80 pound plywood sheets. Also used them for scoring through 4x8 sheet rock and they were very stable. They fold up and don't take up any space.

The light weight and thin top is what interests me I usually end up screwing a 2x4 on end and covering with painters tape. These I can just tape and be ready to paint/stain!

Pro tip: run a line of painter's tape along the top edge and it won't stain your work. Plus you can peel off and re-cover between projects.
