They are easily refillable. You'll need a kitchen scale that measures in ounces and grab you one of these... https://a.co/d/g0tZwZ1
There are videos on YT that show how to do it but it's very simply. You'll need to attach the adapter, flip the 15 pounder upside down so that you're filling with the liquid part of the propane. You have purge the valve a few times during the process (that's where the quick shut-off on the adapter comes in handy). You don't want to fill it over 29-30oz. Simple to do and saves a ton of $$$

Friend of mine has one like this, takes it to all the outdoor events. It takes the smaller 16oz propane cylinders which is good for size/weight/transport but you can go through one of those fairly quick if you're cooking a ton. Good news is they are cheap, 4 pack for $18, but I don't know if they are easily refillable.

How much work does this grill take to clean after cooking so it doesn't leave grease in my car?

I had one of these from Walmart, but the rolling one with the fold out wheels/legs from Walmart.

I returned it. These are really flimsy, paper thin sheet metal. The burner parts are low quality pot metal. About the only thing good is the cast iron grate, so that part is nice. Also, when screwing in the propane bottle, you have to be really careful or you will strip the threads on the regulator. And the way the regulator is "built-in", if you strip it out you can't just replace the regulator, you have to throw away the entire grill.

This is basically a cheap throwaway grill for one or two tailgate seasons. So just set your expectations and you won't be disappointed. If you are a serious camper or want something long-term, look elsewhere.

And if you keep this outside, and don't clean it after each use, it will start rusting away in 6 months. This needs to be cleaned and stored indoors between use, or it won't last.

Don't get the ones with the legs, they are a nightmare and more trouble than they are worth. The fold up legs make them heavy, hard to move around, and take up a ton of space. Folding the legs is very clumsy. And as you wheel them around, they entire grill drops for no reason. Good idea in concept, but very poor in execution.

Better to get this table top version, then get a fold up aluminum table that Walmart has on SlickDeals all the time. Pop up the table, drop this table top on the table, and you are much better off and much easier to deal with.

It's interesting to see that how pics don't show how it looks with the gas can attached to the grill.

I have one and just stop until I don't hear gas moving anymore. I didn't know that I had to weigh stuff, Mr. White didn't teach me that
