Haven't checked CPU prices since I got my 7900x last year. Now 7950X3D is even much cheaper than the launch price of 7900x back in Sep 2022 ($549). Hope Nvidia GPU prices go down as well...Am I the only one thinking of this??

If you have a 7900X, grab a 6800XT, 7900XT, or 7900XTX. All way, way better value than anything Nvidia right now.

Rumor is the 4070 Super may be competitive, but it's just rumor and still a ways off.

Thanks for the info. I do hope we have more GPU maker competitors (AMD, Intel or even more) produce good GPUs at reasonable prices. One 4090 costs 1600+, likely half of money you spend on a DIY PC...
