What does this mean? The quality is super important, and actually, these movies shot on at least 35mm will, if scanned and transfered properly, have an equivalent resolution higher than 4k. The only issue is when the transfer is poor. Like Casino Royale which was shot on film, has a shitty 4k Blu-ray because they were too lazy to make a 4k transfer, so it's just using the 2k intermediary.

Got the Christmas Story and they sent the only 4k version, no blu ray and no digital. I messaged and they sent a return label and a replacement….. the same thing showed up, 4k disk only no standard blu ray and no digital……
