Good game, but the grind gets long after awhile. You end up racing the same tracks over and over to unlock cars.

Some of the legend cars can take over 20 races to unlock at a half hour each. 10+ hours for a single car.

Since you have a PS5...buy the PS5 version...it's optimized with better ray tracing and shadows. What TV you have also matters.

I recently bought PS5, I have a basic question, if i buy gran turismo ps4 vs ps5, will graphic and performance difference will be huge for a newbie like me? Or will it be almost similar?

Any suggestions to buy a ps4 version or a ps5?
Any thoughts?

So I believe GT7 is one of the few games on the PS5 that doesn't get a free upgrade for owning the PS4 disc version, so it'll cost $10 if you want to do the upgrade. That said, from a little bit of comparison videos I watched, both versions look pretty decent (looks like the devs put a lot of work into that). Since you own a PS5, I'd say grab the PS5 version to enjoy this game in all of its glory. But if budget is tight, you can opt for the PS4 version (and pay to upgrade to the PS5 version later if you so choose).

Most likely a decent graphic difference. However you can buy the PS4 version and upgrade to the digital PS5 version for $10 later if you want (Note: you'll still need the game disc inserted to play the digital ps5 version if you upgrade)

Since you have a PS5...buy the PS5 version...it's optimized with better ray tracing and shadows. What TV you have also matters.

There are plenty of comparison videos out there that will help you decide for yourself instead of relying on the opinions of others. Smilie But to put it simply, yes there is a huge difference. PS5 version will be 4K with ray tracing and much higher levels of detail.

Graphics aside, the Dualsense is a game changer. Haptic triggers and the more nuanced feedback are very cool, and although I haven't played GT7 yet, I'd bet that plus whatever graphical upgrade you might get is probably worth the $10 entry fee unless you absolutely can't justify the cost.

i bought a ps5 after trying on buddy's. dualsense was made for gt7 period.

Good PS5 game. Must own PSVR2 game.

Easily the best VR2 title available to date, although RE4 VR version comes out Friday, so will see how that is.
