This includes unlimited everything on the Tmobile network.

I have been using the $5 plan for a few months and works great. I'm not a Miami resident

Data is unlimited, but you may experience slowdowns after 30GB of data usage. Tethering is limited to 5GB/month.

https://hellohelium.com/

Helium mobile uses dual SIM system (1 voice SIM and 1 data e-SIM) so you will get 2 SIMs. Both run on T-mobile network but the data SIM also supports Helium CBRS. The voice SIM has limited data to support MMS service. Limited because the data speed on voice SIM will be lowered to 1mbps.

Whether you get a voice p-SIM or a voice e-SIM depends on the phone you select during signup. For example, if you select iPhone 14, you will get 2 eSIMs because this phone doesn't support pSIM. Otoh, if you select iPhone 11, you will get 1 voice pSIM and 1 data eSIM. The phone you select doesn't have to be the real phone you use. For example, if you want to use 1 eSIM for voice and data (but slow), select iPhone 14 and download voice eSIM to your phone.

You can use this wireless service without installing app or getting involved with crypto.

Do you know if it includes TMo's free international roaming for incoming calls/data?

Hasn't been an MVNO with that included since Harbor/Teltik back several years ago.

I am also a "miami resident" on Helium Mobile, but only have ONE eSim (with eSim.me) which is NOT STOCK.

I have great phone service (so far) and just tested my data on speedtest.net: 466Mbps from San Diego to LA.

Did get a failed network connection the other day when driving the 5 back to SD through Camp Pendleton.

Not sure what you mean by needing TWO Sims.

Why any advantage of MetroPCS over this?

Read the details and compare to Metro $25 plan. Which only needs one SIM by the way (Helium often needs 2…) Like I said for $5 it's fine but at $20 there are better choices honestly.

When I signed up for Helium a couple of months back, they issued two eSims; one for data and one for voice. However, over the weekend I wanted to changed phones and I contacted support. They said they have stopped issuing two eSims. Here is what they said:

Quote :
we've officially ended the dual SIM setup. Going forward, all customers will use a single SIM for both voice/text and data services, eliminating the previous use of 2 eSIMs. This adjustment aims to simplify and enhance the efficiency of your experience.

depends on how you look at it. for 2 sim, some ppl use esim on tablet/phone (data only) and psim on phone (data and voice). So paying $5 you can use 2 devices.

Is there any way we can still get duo sim card as a new customer?

I confirmed with support there is no international roaming currently. I'm traveling overseas in a week so I'll test anyway, but don't have high hopes.
EDIT: confirmed no overseas service. wifi calling does work though, as does iMessage and Android RCS.

I don't think Tmo is even offering this with any of their new plans?
