Anyone have this and like it? I was going to pick up a second inflator to leave in the truck but if this can inflate 80% as well and has jump start capabilities it may be better.

with so many lithium battery options with more peak Amps and a better air pump available, I wonder why would someone want to buy this at ~18lbs (honest question) and old battery tech.

Ex: recently Costco had CAT Cube at $99; 1750 peak Amp, under 5lbs.

After using Noco GB20 and GB40 lithium jump starters (and a slew of crappy lead acid jump starters), I'd never buy this thing. They all seem to be the same junk, using cheap lawnmower batteries, crappy pumps, and crappy connections. Why doesn't this thing use Dewalt power tool batteries at least?

I prefer having the pump separate

The batteries go but pumps last a long time so just replace the jump battery

Also easier to store two smaller devices in car then this

THIS.

The "Dewalt" is re-branded OLD tech, with HEAVY lead acid batteries, and no AC outlet.

WHY would anyone want to buy this over the CAT cube (for example)?

This is outdated junk, licensed, not made by dewalt. It isn't comparable to the Dewalt inflater for tires and isn't comparable to a lithium Jumpstarter. Battery will go dead just sitting on a shelf or in the trunk.

Pretty sure this has leadacid batteries, wouldn't get it if that's the case. You want lithium

Have had one a few years and it has been very reliable. Good inflation - never had overheating issues etc. Also as a jump start it has been better than all the compact boost packs I have tried. Wont start a stone dead V8. But it will get me out of trouble 9 times out of 10.

I was a diesel mechanic for a number of years so my expectations and experience are realistic.

If you live in very cold region, lead acid is preferred since lithium can't because enough pixies in extreme cold.

I have a lithium battery jumper box by JNC. I have to top it off every 3 months overnight and throw it back in my car. But I've had it for 15 years and I still jump my car once every few years with it. But I end up jumping co-workers and random people and parking lots at least every two months over the years. Still going strong. How many times can you recharge lithium ion versus lead acid? I don't know the answer. Anyone else? I'll probably will get a lithium jumper box for the non-cold months.

I had a Stanley jump starter like this 1600 amp and I have a dewalt 1600 Amp like this with an AC plug and USB. after about five years, the Stanley seem to not jump as well anymore. My dad is currently having the same problem with his five year old Stanley. And I'm in the market for one I'd like to know more about what people are saying on the new technologies. Is there a newer all in one?

Lithium jump boxes are for soccer moms and men with hair buns.
