If I don't use shoe goo on my right foot shoe I'll have to get a new pair of shoes every month.
Buy two pairs of the same shoe if you play a lot so you can have the glue cure on the toe before you play in those again.

Some people claim that women's standard width is B, and men's are D. That's true. However, the widths are relative to the size numbers (i.e., B for 10.5 is wider than B for 10), the absolute width of B for women size X + 1.0 (or 1.5) is around the same as D for men size X. At the end of day, they are the same (absolute) widths when they are the same (absolute) length.
Disclaimer: there are shoes that considers the structure of men/women body, so the men/women version have different heel drop and/or pronation. There are very few of them and when they do, they really make sure everyone knows their fantastic ergonomics.

It was almost the same deal on Adidas website a week ago. Women $48, men $80. Got the women ones with my men's size + 1. Very happy with it.
