These are a good set of dykes. Little thick in the handles for precision work, but they are comfortable. I'd put quality on par with Doyle, Greenlee, Stanley FatMax. For $7, the value is there.

What do you recommend for precision work? My mom does arts & crafts, which involves cutting a lot of wire at times.

I've seen some cool videos on YouTube of people making tiny circuits and saw him use a precise wire cutter to cut off solder tails and size down resistor and other component tails.

Anyway I have a set of basic cutters like these ones from black and Decker and I do A LOT of home improvement work and those things are still going for the past 12 yrs. These should last forever

channellock or klein works alot better. i had the quinn it didnt cut garage door belt at all but the channellock 7 xlt did excellent job, nice clean/smooth cut.
