$45 is a lukewarm deal for a series controller.
The color has no indication on the longevity of a quality experience that can be expected before stick drift happens.
Edit: Red is 59.99, frog green one is at 45!
I highly recommend buying some sort of extended warranty with these. I can't speak for how good the Target/Walmart warranties are but Best Buy was easy. I just showed up, told them it had stick drift and I got a brand new one right off the shelf.
