for KING and COUNTRY is a Christian Music Duo, not Rock. And it's not a musical. It's the story of their life, after failure in Australia, came to this country and more failure how God blessed them in the hardest of times.
I've seen them in concert a handful of times and they're more than just great musicians, their shows are an amazing spectacle. From multiple drum kits to horns and guitars and xylophones… the way they bring everything together with so much energy makes it a show in itself.
To the movie — it's an underdog story. I'll even give you the inside scoop on what shapes the movie…
Large family — with young kids and one on the way — travels to America with very little money. Despite their struggles, their community welcomes them with open arms… including an anonymous person paying the remainder of their their maternity ward bill that they struggled to pay. Parents worked their tail off to make ends meet and give their kids a shot at making their dreams come true — including daughter Rebecca St. James (another musician). The movie is a tribute to their parents for all they did to help make their dreams a reality against all odds. Hence the name "Unsung Hero" (matching the title of a recent single of theirs that was a tribute specifically to their mother).
So it's a love story to their mum and dad… but keep going about how it will be a preachy movie. 😏🤨
You've seen them multiple times in concert but we should believe your unbiased synopsis of the movie you haven't seen?
"Based on a remarkable true story, Helen's faith stands against all odds and inspires her husband and children to hold onto theirs." -IMDB. Seems like there will be strong religious elements to me.
Good for folks who like it and not good for folks who don't!

How about we just concentrate on the free item offered and not anyone's opinion? Let's appreciate someone found something and shared it with the community.
By the way, the only option I have is "Add to my Watchlist"
"Unsung hero" is a reference to their parents, the bigger picture, the sacrifices all of our parents make to raise us to be the men and women we are today. Today's culture does not emphasize family as often so I'm pretty excited to see a movie that champions a parents sacrifice in hopes of making their children's futures brighter in hopes that this movie encourages more to be their children's Unsung Heroes. This brother duo truly believe they have a heart felt story to inspire others, that is all. Will they make money? Sure, but once you have the platform they do, do you just stop and spend the money or do you reinvest in making generational impacts? I think they chose impact.
These promos are useless. By the time theatres actually add showtimes, the promo codes have long expired.

I met Rebecca St. James with some other singers years ago after Hero The Rock opera. Wasn't a big fan or anything but she was nice enough.
