If it's a bad band it will fall off somewhere and take your expensive watch with it. You definitely can go wrong.

Thanks! I like a cheap AW band, but I'm going to stay away from the cheap ones in that style. I went for the Pelican Marine pouch for my phone. Looks pretty nice for $5.

Agreed. I have one like that. I put a matching hair tie (you could use a rubber band) around the base of it so that it can come undone but it could not fall off.

Maybe it is. Maybe it is not. Who knows. Can't just be one dimensional about the use case.

My initial point is just for someone who knows someone who has an Apple Watch that worth thinking of as a small gift. It just $1. I'm talking about being charitable. That it.
