The head model is nice because it has a built-in speaker for practice use but hooks up to larger cabs when needed. 100W for loud, and 0.5W for practice.

The "no tax" part is YMMV. It's clearly collecting $24.75 for my state of residence.

I had the combo and the head. Idk what it was but I couldn't get the head to sound anywhere close to as good as the combo. Tried multiple cabs and gave up and got an ENGL.

It might have been an Andertons youtube review but they said the head sounded best with Boss's katana cabinet. It might be that it was specifically voiced(?) for that speaker.

If you search for guitar amp on here there is the same 3 things reposted over months. Seems sus. Meanwhile the crown of guitar speakers (in a cab) can be found for 132 + shipping an supposedly their joyo tiny amps are topkek too. Harley benton g112 celestion. The price of a celestial vintage 12 in a cab. An some tiny amp that gets rave reviews. Dunno if they ever go in sale as I just found them. I still prefer to build a studio without "amp" an with jbl/hk/other speakers an receivers due to the fact every amp I played doesn't have a low volume. Some newer style receivers have multi input at the same time too (mic 1 mic 2) But yeh sadly receivers here seem sus too. For me gimme a multipedal an a portable speaker with no latency an i got all I need.

To each his own. I like the punch of a properly driven speaker. That can't be matched with headphones by definition (hard to feel something hitting you in the chest with headphones), and not with low volume. Certainly there are places where such punchy volumes aren't allowed. Thankfully, I don't live in such a place.
