Wild, never heard of a coin shop paying $20 over spot. Need to find one of those!
Same. Most LCS arround me pay arround $40 to 50$ below the spot. Why don't they just order by themselves (could be below the spot) instead paying more to buy from a client? Not make sense to me.

Not my coin dealer. Last time I bring Pamp bar and American Eagle coin, he bought them for same price. He told me they're all gold and advised me to do not pay premium price just because of the name or the shape unless purchasing for collections.
Age current year can get buyback price of +30 if you look.

Local coin shops. But the thing is, I don't believe it's worth the leg work to try and sell. Currently spot is 2025. Best price on this is about 2030-2035 that I can see. So
You're down about 40 from the start. With cash back you got another 42. Not worth the potential shift in the last two days. But great if you buy and hold as it's cheaper than anywhere else.
Thanks. Just trying to unload the ones I bought at $1930. PAMP, I think it's called. Smilie

It's false. I'll make $20 over spot selling these.
Where do you sell these?

Yeah I've only ever heard of shops paying at or below spot. No clue why any would pay over spot but I wouldn't argue with them.

These will get a higher premium when selling. Do your DD before giving false information.
In USA the Gold Eagle gets best premium over any other coin, period. This coming straight from a big Boston MA dealer. Not sure where you are getting your information but you are wrong.

Should atleast get spot. But coin dealers are becoming smarter and know you got them from Costco. If they are the only game in town expect up to spot minus 30, especially if they think you're flipping. These guys can order two from Costco as well. Smilie

Anybody buy these to hold as a long term investment/hedge, or does everybody just try to flip them ASAP?

Flip ASAP! Gold is a historically poor investment compared to treasuries or equities.

Correct, if you're buying gold as an "investment" you're doing it wrong.

I like to buy precious metals, equities and bonds at their peak price. Should I buy these gold coins now. or wait a while?

Do banks buy gold (coins) or you have to take to jewelers and coin shops, where they'll lowball you (vs. spot price)?
