They are infused with 2% BHA (just another way to say salicylic acid). IMO, same ingredient, saves a step/saves another purchase since it comes with a pre soaked pad. I'm not sure why I'd spend the extra money for Paula's Choice, which is a good brand and I'm sure makes other products that would be worth spending the money on.
I like these pads because one side is a bit rougher; it's good for light physical exfoliation for the body. I start with the smooth side on my face, then because they are XL pads, there's plenty of substance left to target problem areas on the body.
Does this act like a chemical peel?
Does this smoothen the skin texture and remove old acne spots and scars to some extent?
