Logitech really milking that Saitek x52 design. Think I've had mine 12 or more years.

Good price I think. Mine was $29.99 open box at Best Buy

Same here. I think I've used mine about 12 times in those 12 years, too, but it's still fun every once in a while.

Is this better or worse than the Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas 4?

Damn, it feel's like a lifetime has passed since I've last heard the Saitek name...

This looks like a beautiful set. I'm tempted to get it as an upgrade for my current HOTAS... but I really have nothing to use it on. There have not been good flight games for a while (Star Wars Squadron was on the better side of OK, though I'm still grumpy over some of the features lost from the old X-Wing vs Tie Fighter games).

A lot of the space combat games that are pretty decent only poorly support HOTAS, most are designed for controller. Almost every flight game on steam has a string of angry reviews about poor HOTAS support.

Assuming it's made for flight sim first and foremost??

Is there any other just as good or better for cheaper out there?? I always wanted one, but play very casually and don't want to spend much.

Would this work for an experimental deep-sea submersible? Asking for a friend.
