I've spent $50,000 on these over the past 3 months. My Costco CB is maxxed out. I think I am tapping. Thanks OP!

I too enjoy learning investment strategies from those unburdened by the nuances between 'by' and 'buy'
I edited my post within 1 minute of posting so clearly it was a typo. I'm glad the grammar police are patrolling the boards though. Keep it up. GLD, GLDM, and BAR are all solid ways to invest in gold.

Yeah, they take Visa and Mastercard online - Visa only in stores.
It used to be Amex only but they switched to Visa years ago.
That's right. I am spacing out today, little under the weather! They don't take AX. I'd switch to AX Gold for my Small Business where they pay 4x points for 2 categories. We only have to use Visa at Costco. Thank you!

These always go out of stock by the time they hit the front page. Ugh!

Not really, if you don't physically hold gold you don't have any gold.

When does the Costco CB gets maxed out? Meaning originally we get 2% citi and 2% executive Costco. So once it's maxed out at for e.g., $30000 yearly (or $Xxxxx), then we receive 0% on both citi and executive Costco?

$1000 is the max executive cash back, no max on the citi card cash back.

I think you are far smarter investing in ETFs. Much easier to sell and they are tied directly to the price of gold. If the price of gold starts crashing all you have to do is sell your ETF shares. which will be much faster and you can quickly limit your downside risk.

I guess by your logic no one has ever owned a piece of a company with a "share" then and no one has ever truly owned a bitcoin since it doesn't physically exist. Your logic is flawed.
Shares of companies/ETF's/Bitcoin are completely different from holding physical gold. Buying paper gold is stupid, you might as well buy shares in a company/traditional ETF. Your logic is the one that's flawed.

Read my edited post above for why "paper gold" makes more sense. But don't take my word for it, a quick Google search will back up what I am saying.

Your edit just shows how uninformed you are on the topic. Enjoy your paper gold investment, don't come crying when you try and sell and they don't let you Smilie

LOL. You can sell a Gold ETF any time you want. I challenge you to say even one thing I said that is "uniformed." I'll wait.
