Is this really a toolbox looks more like a joke it's made out of thin plastic you couldn't put any real tools in it because the shelves would bend I wouldn't pay more than $3 for this piece of crap

Considering this for small parts/hardware—nails, screws, bolts, nuts, washers… that plastic handle would be my top concern. Anyone own one?

Edit: after reading the reviews regarding build quality and size, I think I'll pass.

this is the same as the harbor freight organizer which has a normal price of $20.

The lid on the HF looks a little more sturdy from the pics and if either of these are the same or better quality as they were 12 years ago they're good enough quality.

https://www.harborfreight.com/too...68238.html

That said, i dont like it because the drawers, being totally removable and closeable without the main unit, tend to get lost especially if you have kids using it.

Doesn't look like much of a deal at all. No name brand toolbox that looks like cheap quality.

Our college uses this style of toolbox for Electrical/Computer Engineering lab kits. Handy for storing small electronics components, some basic tools, and lots of cables. I wouldn't recommend it as a real toolbox, though.

It's the same one HF sells in black/yellow. I bought a bunch of them just for the compartments, then sold the empty boxes. The individual compartments fit the hardware store parts bins perfectly when the cardboard ones wear out. (The bulk fastener aisle i'm talking about). I have dozens of the empty parts cabinets in my shop so these worked out perfectly. It's about all they are good for.

Looks more like a fishing tackle box for hooks, lures, lines and fake baits.

was about to pull the trigger when I read that that the hinges break after a couple of months and not very sturdy.

This is a cheap knockoff of the Plano 3700, which I own. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra cash on the Plano or wait for a sale. They both are really more of a tacklebox than something I'd call a toolbox.

Pack Out, schmack out, I'm not paying exorbitant sums for Milwaukee toolboxes. I'll let y'all know how this holds up to the jobsite, and if I'm allowed back on after being sent home for bringing this to work.

Has it shown up? I hear so many funky stories about Temu I have yet to order.
