For a homeowner who got hooked on the HD hacks and now has a number of Milwaukee M12 power tools that haven't been used much since purchase (but I feel ok because I got good Slickdeals), is this packout worth getting for better storage/organization in the garage? (Hammer drill, impact drill, multitool, jigsaw, circular saw, staple gun, hackzall, screwdriver…face palm). Admittedly, the farthest I'd travel with any of the tools would be from the garage to the backyard…

"NEW10 discount code isn't available to you right now." What are the conditions for this code?

It's the full three-piece set that's usually $200.

Packout has the best support for different size boxes and organizers and internal bins. Otherwise the ridgid bins are cheap and less than half the cost for throwing your tools in. Depends how much you care about brands matching or how minutely organized you can get.

IMO these are some of the best mobile boxes, however a homeowner almost never needs the best and the Ridgid, Craftsman, or even the Heart/Husky rolling modular boxes would be perfect at a MUCH lower price.

IMO, Packout is the best system I've used. However, this would be a luxury buy for a Homeowner. For Home, I went with the Hart system. Lower quality, yes. But still functional with decent variety. Still made by the same parent company (TTI) at a much lower price point. I actually really like the Hart parts bins at an unbeatable $15/ea.

I would say no, if you aren't going to a job site practically speaking pulling tools out of a cabinet in the garage is about as convenient as from the packout setup, maybe even more so if the tool you need is in the bottom box and you have to unstack the set to access it.

I have 2 drawer and 3 drawer setup for my M12 tools. Also have about 8 of PACKOUT 5-Compartments Small Parts Organizer. To carry my sets on the go.
To answer your questions, no you don't really need the big Packout storage and if you really decide to get it, go for the drawers one.
If you have a garage just get a big tool drawer for $200 you can store variety of tools. Pack Out meant for on the go, not a good solution for permanent storage sitting in the corner because it's more expensive.

I have this, 2-drawer, and the 3-drawer. If you're using it for home you need the drawer box, not this one
