Years ago Norton was a resource hog. I jumped on the Bitdefender wagon then and haven't looked back. No problems or breaches but I do recommend turning off the "upsell" notifications as they can be Clippy levels of annoying if you don't.

Just tested this and purchased the same subscription I already had that didn't expire until 2024. When I activated the code it gave me two options, extend my current subscription or to add a new subscription. Extending my current subscription worked fine.

Just use a better VPN like Surfshark or NordVPN. I have Bitdefender on all my computers and devices and it works great. I use NordVPN and turn the VPN access off in the settings.

One of their packages includes unlimited VPN. On one occasion that brought my system to its knees. Otherwise, I haven't noticed a slow-down.

Hoping the 'Key Card' Malwarebytes Premium - 5 Devices / 1 Year drops down to at least $25. Wally's Black Friday that I missed was $24.99 for the Key Card version of the same product
