Come on. I have a small 2.1 Polk system from 25 years ago that fills my entire basement fairly well. You're telling me this setup won't fill a room??
Not sure what they are referring to. I have it for my living room. It more than delivers and definitely "fills the room."

Same here. I added the Atmos speakers that sit on top of the towers. They're being driven by a Sony receiver.
This all replaced a soundbar with back speakers and a sub. Love it for being an entry level setup.
I regret not snagging the atmos speakers earlier this week. Woot had them for $100. Do you think they add that much to the experience?

I have the bookshelf/center channel speakers as fronts in my setup with in-ceiling for my rear surrounds. These speakers are a great value at this price point, would definitely recommend.

Bought this exact set in 2020. Nearly 4 years later and I still love it. I highly recommend them!

P.S. If anyone intends to listen to music on these, definitely use Airplay instead of Bluetooth. The difference in quality is immediately noticeable.
My roommate has this set with a Dennon receiver and WOW sounds amazing and no hissing sounds ever. For anyone that doesn't know JAMO is huge in Europe and is owned by KLIPSCH

Looking to replace my Andrew Jones speakers (though, I understand those are pretty legendary). Just wanted to have these in white!

Would this be overkill for an apartment living room?
When it comes to this type of product, there is no such thing as overkill.
Keep it turned down for now, crank it up when the neighbors are gone or you've moved out.

Most center speakers suck. It's a comprised design. Lots of folks getting into home theater are misinformed that they "need" a center. A center was designed for one purpose…lock sounds to the screen for people sitting off to the sides so they don't hear a character talking on screen but it's coming out of the left or right speaker…whichever they are close to. If you sit between your speakers, a center isn't necessary.
understood and that makes perfect sense.

When my receiver is in Dolby Digital 5.1 output, it outputs to a center no matter what and without one you hear almost zero dialog.

Adorama will deduct return shipping fees from your refund. Does anyone have a rough idea of how much that would be, considering multiple heavy boxes?

Would love to give these a try but don't want to be hit with a return fee that's 25-50% of the price.

BEWARE! JAMO = GATEWAY DRUG TO AUDIOPHILE-ISM
Started with this kit from SD:
https://electronics.woot.com/offe...a-system-7

Now, I have a Denon AVR-X4700H, (1) KEF Q650 center, (2) KEF Q750 Floor standing Speakers, (4) Klipsch CDT-5650-C II In-Ceiling Speakers for Atmos, and SVS SB-3000 Powered subwoofer, I kept jamo bookshelf speakers as Left and right Surround Sound.

You have to set the center output to "phantom" in the menu.
This is one of the lies speaker salespeople would tell people. That you'll miss dialogue without a center speaker or that the crappy center speaker that no one would ever use as a "serious" speaker for left and right would make dialogue clearer. Sad.

It won't be the same as speakers in the ceiling. I have this setup in a family room that is roughly 15 x 20 feet with 8 foot ceilings. Just when I start thinking they weren't worth it I watch an Atmos movie and I swear the rain is falling from the ceiling. Or I duck when I think the missile is coming right at me from the sky!

I'm not sure what they cost now, but I think they were worth it whatever I paid.
