How's the wireless Internet? I had T-Mobile home Internet for a bit and speeds were 600+ at night around 300+ in the day but it was impossible to game, constant lag. Does this have the same problem? Is it deprioritized?

You have to do two separate processes, first setup a new service for the same address, then cancel the old service. They won't auto cancel the old one jsyk.

The price for 1gig is $64.99 only if you already have a mobile plan with Verizon. Otherwise it's $89.99. I currently have a mobile plan with them but if I cancel and sign up under my wife's name, I will end up paying more monthly because she's on another network. I'm wondering if I could switch the Fios account under her name but still get the mobile+home discount somehow. Do the services have to be on the same address? first+last name? SSN?

i highly doubt you got 600 from tmobile at any point.

Vz 5G Home is capped to about 340 in cband only areas (for now). If you have mmWave you'll get gigabit. It has been a consistent 340 down/30 up and 26 ms ping (I live 50 miles from the test server) at all times since I've been on it since August. Verizon will not drop you to 4G speeds like tmobile and they only offer it in places that they know the network can handle the rated speed (which is why they cap it). Myself and at least 3 of my neighbors have it (I can see their verizon wifi networks when I look)

Last I checked, Verizon (and all the big carriers) have stopped rolling out fiber in established areas.

I have a better chance at getting fiber by moving out to the boonies.

Cheaper to roll out fiber in new installations than to upgrade in cities/urban areas.
