FYI, the S24 series is supposed to be announced next month. Google Fi should have similar deals on the S24 series, like they did on the S23 at launch. I think the launch S23 deals were even better than the deal listed in this post.

The cheapest is the $20 Flexible Plan (unlimited talk/text, any Data used is $10 per GB, prorated). The taxes & fees usually add another $6-$7 a month. Percentage wise that sounds high, but some of the fees are fixed-amounts per line so they skewed the percentage. Some people in Texas have taxes & fees as high as $10 each month.

I did the Fi pre-release S23 deal in Feb this year. My S23 (with free upgrade to 256GB) was $299.99. So it was better than this deal. Plus the trade-in values at that time was great. I traded in an iPhone11 for $310 which pretty much offset the cost of the S23. My net cost was $27 in sales tax on $299.99, minus the $10 in excess credit.

Thinking of leaving T-Mobile for another service. How are Google Fi and Visible?
I just went from Tmobile to Fi about 8 months ago and no regrets. Speed and service us about 99% what it was with Tmobile and half the price.

Google Fi is a T-Mo MVNO reseller so it's on the T-Mo network, and performance will be the same.
Visible is a Verizon company, so its performance depends on location, and it gets first de-prioritization when the Verizon network is busy.

The T-Mo network seems to be much faster than the Verizon network.
Speed is useless if your coverage sucks. T-mobile is great when you're in urban areas. Once you go off to rural areas then that's when both speed and coverage go down the toilet altogether.

How are their prices terrible? Do you know what service you are talking about?
If you only have one line of service, Fi turns out to be about double the cost of Mint.

30 vs 50 for unlimited. More expensive, yes, but terrible pricing for better service is a bit extreme.

And for 3 and 4 people, Fi is actually cheaper. So again, far from terrible.

It greatly depends where you are. I actually don't get Verizon service at my house and I live in the suburbs, but a mile away it's great service.

Need to test it out before committing.

Better service? Seems like both are deprioritized TMO service. And with Mint. you can definitely get it cheaper than 30 if you are willing to play the game. No games with Fi.

False, Fi shares priority with T-mobile customers and Mint is one step below.

Ok? Im not arguing Fi is a better deal, just that pricing is far from terrible. Try to keep up.

Can an existing Fi customer get the new S23 to replace another S23 currently use on the Fi line?
So, the new S23 will have to stay active on that line for 120 days to get the $500 promo credited to the Fi account?

The previous S23 can then be given away or sold.
That's my reading of the terms and conditions. Just recently joined Fi, but brought my devices and currently not bound to any promotions. Once I move my line to the new S23, I expect my current phone to be free to give away or for trade-in when S24 comes out.

The s23 is good for the price but i ran into many big issues on it, mainly the crappy phone app that would bug out all the time. The iphone 15 pro is leagues better but it costs $$$ obviously
