That's rough as the year has been so loaded and I havent played a few very highly regarded releases such as Alan Wake 2 or Baulders Gate 3. Even of the majority that I have played, it's really tough. This morning, Id say the Resident Evil 4 Remake, Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and Super Mario Wonder. Tomorrow, I might have Armored Core 6 or the Dead Space Remake in there. On another day, Star Wars: Jedi Survivor might sneak in. I'm probably forgetting a few too 😆 It's truly been a really, really loaded year for gaming. Like I said, I haven't even made my way to BG3 or AW2 and for many, those are 2 of the top 3 games of the year. I'm currently running through Spiderman 2 which is also really good though Id put it just a step below the top 3 I listed. Starfield was another huge release that I'm enjoying but so far, I don't think its quite up there with any of the above.

Edit: Sea of Stars was great too if your into old school SNES RPGs.
I can't recall seeing it mentioned but I haven't watched the entire show yet. I've beat it though (PS5) and while I got some enjoyment out it, it was frankly outclassed by a bunch of games this year. Most years, I think it would have been in contention for some awards but this year has been the strongest year for great games that I can remember in my almost 30 years of gaming. I would say some games more deserving than Hogwarts aren't in contention for much either. It's really been a fantastic year for quality games and this holiday season has been a great opportunity to get many of them at great discounts. This has been one of the better seasons for that too.
I didn't really experience any lagging. There are substantial "loading time" between some areas.

Gameplay on switch is totally fine.

My kids have only played the switch but because this was only $30 on Newegg for PC digital version I'm going to attempt to have them get into PC gaming this year. I think it will be a better experience all around though it's tempting to get this so they have a game case to open on Christmas morning. Giving a digital code stinks for gift giving for kids. It should have been launched at this price given it's usually priced around this on all other platforms.

Is the Deluxe version worth the extra $10?

Reviews say a lot of lagging. Do people who own this have that experience?

Wow the pricing is dropping fast for a Switch game. The delay plus the quality comparison with other platform really hurt its sales I think.

We don't have other console. I was planning to get the PC version for myself but it may not be a bad buy for the kids to play on Switch if it is cheap.
