Super durable. I've had mine for a year and beat the hell out of it with basically no visible change. Screen is flawless. One ding on the edge where I banged it against an iron gate frame.

So after trying with 4 different reps on Bestbuy chat, I finally decided to call them in hopes of getting it price matched and was able to do it successfully. I got connected to a super nice Latina who went an extra mile in helping me doing the price match. She even offered me free expedite shipping. God bless her. Should be getting my watch on Dec 12th, without expediting, it was Dec 18th. I currently have a Series 5, so this will be a huge upgrade.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I am kind of rough and hate my scratched Series 7. I have heard this before but appreciate the confirmation yet again.

Went ahead and bit the bullet, even with this band that I don't really like the color of, but $50 off, $80 off with AMEX and no tax shipped to our offices in OR made it $619 to upgrade. Already put in my "trade-in" to apple for $425 so $194 for an upgrade and another year of warranty is probably worth it for me at least. I've had the AWU since Dec 2022, it's a great watch, VERY durable, 3 day battery life for me even with 2-3 45-60 min workouts in that time frame.

Please be careful ordering high value product like Apple electronics from Amazon, I had bad experience where I ordered stainless steel but received aluminum with a UPC sticker for stainless steel. Had to wait 3months to get the refund as even after UPS showed delivery the warehouse did not process it.

Anyone with a favored brand of screen protector? Never scratched my other smartwatches ( but this is by far the most expensive watch I've ever bought).

I tried moments ago and they turned me down. They can't honor the $50 coupon from Amazon to honor the price match with Best Buy.

Keep trying. All you will need is just one nice & helpful agent to get it done. If one agent turns you down, just say thank you and hang up. Don't try to convince them. Save your time. Believe me, they won't do it. Try next person

Shouldn't be an issue with the Ultra since there's only one metal version

The sapphire screen on the Ultra shouldn't need a screen protector, but at least it's a flat screen vs the curved one on all the other watches

Don't do it. Enjoy it naked. It has a sapphire screen and won't scratch easily. If it does get one somehow consider it a battle scar.
