I'm really not sure I want to see even more detail in these films. 🤣
GAME OVER!
The others :should: upgrade eventually. Unfortunately since they're not available in 4k right now when they eventually do upgrade and iTunes gives the free 4k upgrade it won't port back to Movies Anywhere. Whereas the ones that are 4k at the time of redemption get you 4k rights on MA and any connected retailers.
You could hold off on redeeming the non 4k ones which is what I was doing until I chickened out when WB started expiring all their old codes without warning in case other studios decide to follow suit.
And of course all that is irrelevant if you meant that you need 4k discs.

- Those things are gonna come in here just like they did before. And they're gonna come in here and they're gonna get us!
Ripley:
- This little girl survived longer than that with no weapons and no training. Right?
Hudson:
- Why don't you put her in charge?
Ripley:
- You'd better just start dealing with it, Hudson.
- Listen to me.
- Hudson, just deal with it because we need you. And I'm sick of your bullshit.
Aliens is coming March next year.
Anyhow, thank you for sharing that news.

For real. I think Cameron holds the strings on this one.
I'm excited, but not too excited. 4k is going to be theatrical only, so no directors cut (I think they'll include it, but the current version of today). There's no special features for the new release either, which I don't really care about but when it's been this long it seems like they should have included something.
They just announced it about a month ago. March 12 release.

What a bummer! Not really that interesting to me then.
