Solar Guitars is offering a Buy 1 Get 1 Free promotion.
Buy any 1 Series guitar from the selected list [solar-guitars.com] and get a 2 Series guitar for free. (1 Series guitars have a 1 just before the dot, e.g., AB1.6G is a 1 series bass guitar. 2 Series guitars have a 2 in that position.) The 1 series guitars start at about $1100 and go up from there, with the free guitars having prices around $600-$800.
To get the deal, follow the link just above and add the desired Series 1 guitar to the cart. When you view the cart, the page will give you the option to select a gift from among the 2 Series guitars. On valid 2 Series guitars, the price shown on the page will be $0.Click "Buy Now" to add it to the cart, where it will show as free.
Shipping to my sample US zip code for the two guitars is $80.
Solar Guitars is owned by metal guitarist Ola Englund, better known by me for the "Will it Chug" videos on his eponymous YouTube channel. Thus, all of these models are pretty "shreddy" type guitars.
The site has been pretty slow this morning, but seems to be better now.

Those who I know who have had issues resolved by Solar had to voice their issues long and loud, sometimes publicly before Solar would handle/address. CNC'ed Indo guitars. Great guitars, however overpriced.
This is likely an attempt to clear out '21-'23 Series 2 guitars that weren't otherwise going to move.
Ola is like Rob Chapman. Everybody's buddy if they are selling you something. They go where the fresh money is, and those early adopters mostly get the shaft unless they go to great lengths.
Seen it personally more than once. Not worth the hassle.

As someone said above do be wary of QC issues. For whatever reason some Solars have issues with cracked fretboards, specifically ebony. Maybe has to do with the sharp-lookin 12th fret inlay design or poor humidity control? Either way it's a bummer to deal with.
Solar is also by far the biggest adopter of Evertune bridges and there's a LOT of them here as well. I've already posted my comments about Evertune in another thread, I like them a lot but they can be polarizing. You may love them or hate them.
