For clarification, when I said it was a "specialty tool for a homeowner", I am saying it's a stretch tool that many homeowners will not need. Was simply trying to share a deal on an expensive tool with the community for homeowners that may have a need (and obviously the plumbers on here as a more professional tool).
The Milwaukee ProPex does not press ProPress fittings for copper, it is a Pex only tool. The tool here is geared towards ProPress fittings (since it comes with those jaws) but also has the option to pick up an additional jaw for pex too. If you aren't messing with copper and just using pex then the ProPex tool is probably a great tool at 1/5 the cost.

What's the advantage?Just hate sanding and fluxing? Code?
Aren't the fittings significantly more expensive? Do you still keep a torch around to burn off the sticker mess that is sometimes on copper?

Three of us on the "rough-in" part of the company. My work truck has 2 b-tanks always ready to go for solder purposes.
We all have torches and solder kits in our personal cars all times. With that said, nothing beats the pro press.
