For anyone who would like to remove the permissions you granted for this deal, go here: https://myaccount.google.com/connections

Then, look for an entry called "gweb-play-points-app"

You can remove the permissions by clicking on the entry, then at the bottom you click on "Delete all connections you have with gweb-play-points-app"

Ok, I chatted with support and rep said that the 40% off requires you to be at gold level for at least 10 days before it will work. This promo is good until 12/31. The trade-in values and current google store discounts are supposed to remain the same until 12/31 so I guess you can wait 10 days and get this deal without losing on any current deals.

Google doesn't let promos stack. This will be off the MSRP and not their current ongoing discount.

I'm a gold member but only got it to work via the link. 40% off plus a Pixel 6a trade in = $220 for a Pixel 8.

Is there any way to rapidly earn 200 Google Play Points (besides buying digital goods I truly don't need) to get from Silver to Gold?

For instance, I would gladly add $200 of Google Play gift cards to my account (to be spent over the next couple years on annual Google One subscription), but it looks like Google Play gift cards don't earn points until they're spent; is that right?

Still not sure if this is legit or not though. Has anyone actually gone through with a purchase and received an email from Google or saw the order through the Google Play store?

Me! I too was scared of the link, but it appears to be legit. The discount applied to my account and I was able to order the pixel 8.

Its showing up in my order history when I go directly to the store. Emails look legit. The app for the promo code is on the Google domain as well. Seems legit.

Worked for me. $759 256GB Pixel 8 minus $303 discount, minus $300 trade-in for Pixel 7, makes total $150. Not bad.

Did you try clicking on the OP link ? Then sign in to your account that has Google One. I tried to switch to another account but it said only available to Gold and Platinum points members.
