For anyone who would like to remove the permissions you granted for this deal, go here: https://myaccount.google.com/connections

Then, look for an entry called "gweb-play-points-app"

You can remove the permissions by clicking on the entry, then at the bottom you click on "Delete all connections you have with gweb-play-points-app"

Ok, I chatted with support and rep said that the 40% off requires you to be at gold level for at least 10 days before it will work. This promo is good until 12/31. The trade-in values and current google store discounts are supposed to remain the same until 12/31 so I guess you can wait 10 days and get this deal without losing on any current deals.

Google doesn't let promos stack. This will be off the MSRP and not their current ongoing discount.

Thanks OP, picked up the 8 Pro. Will be $233 after my S22 Ultra trade-in. Not too bad.

Weird thing is that I figured there was no way I was gold level because I never spend money on the Play Store or do check-ins or play games. I have no idea why, but I was gold. へ‿(ツ)‿ㄏ

The only thing I ever buy is clash of clans subscription, and I'm gold. That's $5 a month. I do the Play Perks weekly prize as well, and a couple little bonus things as they show up. I guarantee you I haven't spent over $80 this year, and only closer to that because the CoC sub went from 5 to $6.99 a few months back.

Yeah I'm clueless to this as well...

Wondering if we can change what device we want the discount on after we click redeem or if it's locked in.

Also, trade-in values are horrific for any non-Google phones.
