For anyone who would like to remove the permissions you granted for this deal, go here: https://myaccount.google.com/connections

Then, look for an entry called "gweb-play-points-app"

You can remove the permissions by clicking on the entry, then at the bottom you click on "Delete all connections you have with gweb-play-points-app"

Ok, I chatted with support and rep said that the 40% off requires you to be at gold level for at least 10 days before it will work. This promo is good until 12/31. The trade-in values and current google store discounts are supposed to remain the same until 12/31 so I guess you can wait 10 days and get this deal without losing on any current deals.

Had been on the fence, but decided I would go ahead and do the steps to get the offer. I already pay for Google One, but not the 2tb...so I used one of my other google accounts that had the discounted $2.49 2TB offer. Signed up, but I am still at bronze on play points with 2 points and don't see the offer in the Google One app now.

All I could see was a press release last year that Google Play Gold was a previous perk for the 2TB $9.99 Google One plan. I can't seem to find any notes showing its now a standard benefit at that level (even if it takes 3 days)?

Because $10 to then get a 40% MSRP discount along with 10% back on the purchase (probably have to spend another $10-$20 to wait for the 10% to post to the account) seems pretty good.

It shows for me in Google One when I look at "benefits". It shows it as "Play Points Upgrade". Still shows that way for me in my other accounts. However, the account I signed up for the 2TB on no longer shows it, now that I have purchased it.

Click manage google account>data privacy>Apps and services, choose gweb-play-points-app and chose delete all conection.
