I can't speak to how good or bad the price is relative to what it's been recently, but I own this exact table we put in our laundry room and my wife absolutely loves it. It's plenty big and sturdy enough for her to pull up, sort and fold laundry on, and then fold back down out of the way where it's not taking up any additional space again. It's the perfect solution for when you need a table on a regular basis in a fairly small area but don't want to deal with hauling out and putting away (and storing) a temporary table. Highly recommend this for situational needs. I'm considering getting a second one for my workshop/shed, which is 20x20.

To the downvoters who don't realize this is for real - your drywall is fastened to studs with magnetic screws. You will need a decent magnet but this method can often be more accurate than a cheap stud finder.

Pics don't show the underneath. Could someone with one confirm that someone could cut the top to a shorter length assuming they weren't concerned with the edge looking different?
Yes- the support brackets are 32" apart for stud spacing so you could shorten the top.

For what it's worth, I highly suggest you attach this on an outer wall with 2x6 studs and not an internal wall with just 2x4 studs. Especially if you plan on doing any type of pounding on this "workbench". If you're house is older than 20 years or live in certain areas, your house might have 2x4 all the way through.

It's probably mentioned somewhere already in here, but you can make this for less than half the price with no additional tools.

Folding brackets are under $20 for the pair and you can get a pretty decent piece of precut sheet of 2'x4' wood for also around $20 at HD/lowes.

Same price as SafeRacks
Just came across this myself, and if looking for a solid workbench surface, the SafeRacks looks like a better option as the wood top seems to be much thicker, at least twice as thick as Walmart option.

I got something similar from Home Depot a few months back for about $50, but it had rubber wood for the bench top. This is a little nicer in that its made from Bamboo so its a lot sturdier. I think the rubberwood is still decent but bamboo is def a stronger wood product.

That's why I put random screws in drywall when I hang it.
That's why I tape random metallic bits to the Romex when I do the wiring.

For someone who has never drilled a hole in the wall and mounted anything, how hard is it to mount this. What tools do i need
Everyone gave you great tips. Re: finding a stud a magnet works great. Another trick is there is always a stud where a power outlet is. The box is nailed to a stud.

You can typically use this as a guide to know if you're near a stud or not.

I also highly recommend pre drilling and finding the depth of your drywall and purchasing the proper anchors. I learned the hard way not all dry wall in my home was the same thickness years ago.

If you want to remove the wall mounts in the future, are you supposed to fill the drill holes with wood filler or something to protect the integrity of the stud? If you don't fill the holes, would a mount still hold securely if you wanted to mount there again at a later time?

People have mentioned that you can buy the folding brackets for DIY. Which ones would be suitable for a table like this?

I bought one of these a while back to use as a table top for a standing desk and I wanted a smaller table top. It's actually a little too small as the frame goes past the back of the table top, but otherwise has been nice. I still clutter the desk just as much if not more, so down sizing in an attempt to force myself not to keep it minimal didn't end up working.

sweet - so instead of confirming a stud we simply look for screws, which are not uncommon to be near misses not in studs
