That 1 star review where a plate fell on their face during use. That's gonna be a hard pass.

This is cheaper than last time during Blackfriday. I am going to return that and reorder. Walmart apparently does not refund the difference

One of the plates cannot fall on your face even if it would break loose from the handle unless you are holding the dumbbells in what I would call an upside-down position. Meaning, you grab the dumbbell out of the cradle. Set it on the ground. Then flip it over (180-degree rotation) and pick it up. So, it could be considered user error.

Picked a pair up. From a everything I read, this is the cheapest adjustable set you can get. The only better option is the powerblocks for $200, but those sales are rare.

I have been using this for the past month and honestly, I have not had any issues with this set so far.

I just got a pair. One works fine. The other has a real issue. It doesn't sit correctly in the cradle and because of that it doesn't unlock. If I play with it a bit I can get it to work but it's not right. I'm going to have to have that one replaced. And I literally just opened the box yesterday so it's new

Does anyone have a recommendation for adjustable Dumbbells that go up to 100lbs or closer? 52.5 won't cut it anymore.

I have this set… I've had no problems with the adjustable dumbells… I like them a lot… the PowerBlocks are a better build quality, but the FitRx are easier and quicker to adjust weight

the one problem I have is the stand… imagine a dinner table where the legs are slightly off… if you know what I mean. No matter how much I tighten, it doesn't sit flush on the floor.

I have those… better build quality than these FitRx… but the PowerBlocks costs almost 2x to 3x more.

My PowerBlocks are in my garage gym… the FitRx are in my bedroom

I bought this set without the stand last month. I'm very happy with it. I haven't had any problems yet. I use a plyo box as a stand and so far so good.

I have a set of powerblocks (as well as these). My one issue with power blocks is the shape. There's a restriction on wrist movement because of the shape of them and it limits some exercises.

I had the Nordic Trac adjustable ones, they were ok, but i just sold them. Was going to replace with these, but those 1 star reviews are pretty bad. Might have to pass on this.
