About this product:

Got one on a slickdeal this spring just used it for the first time last week, it's excellent. Very quick and easy set up. We normally have a ~10ft tree, was easy to set it in, quickly rachet it up to almost tight, do a final adjustment then finish clamping in place.

Just bought this, $59 with warranty for 5 years is pretty good! I had actually ordered one at full price two weeks back, chatted with Amazon support just now to see if they could refund the difference and they said nothing they could do, just order it again and return the used one.

What a waste, now we know where all those used like new ones come from!

Agreed. Amazon says it's 15 in wide for the small and 20 in for XXL. And XXL is much cheaper. Plus the larger water reservoir is always nice.

It's super sturdy. Plastic exterior but metal construction. Your tree isn't going anywhere. It has a huge reservoir meaning you need to fill up a lot less often, letting you make a two day trip to a relative's house for Christmas if needed. The opening is narrow and difficult for pets to drink from, another plus.

The foot pedal makes adjustments fast and able to be done by one person. No needing one person to hold the tree, a second person on the floor turning the screws, and a third person telling you when it's straight. 15 seconds to pop the ratchet with your foot, move the tree a little bit, then pump it with your foot to secure it again, then stand back and see if it's straight. I adjusted my 8.5 ft tree by myself five times and had it straight in a few minutes. You can put a padlock on the foot pedal to prevent the safety from accidentally being released by kids or pets.

The only downside for me so far has been filling it takes a while, and there's no bottom lip to prevent accidentally spilled water from getting on the floor. But you can tell when it's full from the float indicator so that has helped.

Great stand. Buy it now for next year.

This is worth every penny. After spending so many years struggling to get trees straight, getting covered in sap spinning stupid wingnuts, this thing you pop in the stand, step on the foot pedal, and you are done. Totally worth it. I recommend to everyone. We are using about 10' tree as well.

Each of the past few summers, Warehouse Deals has blown these out for a few days around June-July as low as $17. They're generally in new condition with a damaged box.
