Note that the lids (the break first) fit the metal bottle as well. In for the spare parts.

NEVER had this break in the last 7 years I have been using these for the kids! Easy to clean! Just make sure to tighten it well and don't lay on the side - they will leak slowly. bought from target, Amazon and Costco more over the years

My 1 year old son tends to flip the spout on the so called non spillable ones then he turns the bottle upside down and shakes it. It spills all over. Can this bottle withstand this abuse and not spill?

Contigo® identified that the water bottle's clear silicone spout in some cases may detach from the lid posing a potential choking hazard. No injuries have been reported. But, out of an abundance of caution, we encourage consumers to find out if they have an affected water bottle lid and order a free replacement product.

This recall only involves Contigo® Kids Cleanable Water Bottles sold from April 2018 through February 7, 2020. The water bottles come in three sizes (13-ounce, 14-ounce and 20-ounce) and multiple colors, materials and graphics. The bottles were sold individually as well as in two-packs and three-packs.

We've had some variation of this style for 3 years. Through kids being kids, plastic has broken and even a handle broke. Simply reach out to Contigo and I've had them replace the product after a picture to prove the claim. Pretty quick turnaround and kept the usable parts for future use. Nice that they at least stand behind their products from a warranty perspective. I'd be in for more, if we didn't already have 2 per kid as it is, great price!

We have these. They flick a little liquid each time you open them.

We use these Contigo bottles all the time. I think they're easier to clean, use, and fit all cupholders well.

The kids have been using these since they were three. They can use both hands and it has a trigger that is really well placed. We run them through the dishwasher. We wrote their names with sharpie and they take them to school

We've been happy with these. I've had them for about 1 year. It is our boys. Go to for sleeping with, dinner time, and daycare. No spills, easy for the kids to use, and haven't had any issues with mold build up. We will soak the the lids and hot water and soap for cleanings.

We figured that if there are any issues with the bottles, we can always utilize Contigo lifetime warranty. I would recommend them!

Mold in the upper part of the lid, extremely hard/impossible to remove. Tossed ours in he trash. It's not sanitary
