I bought the apex pro mini not too long ago. Here's my two cents.

-The switches are slightly above average. I haven't found much to enjoy from the magnetic actuation that you can adjust, but they feel good in general.

-The software is pretty bloated and confusing to use. The keyboard has most functions available with out the software, built into the keyboard firmware. But the rgb profiles are very limited. You can not assign a specific color, but the RGB offered is half decent as it is.

-The software has to be turned on and left on for the RGB to be programmed to your specific color profile. Once you turn the software off, the keyboard firmware takes over and the default RGB profiles are the only options. With the software on however, there are tons of different color profiles to play with.

As for my own opinion of the board. I feel like I type slightly worse with this keyboard but it feels better to type with. Fast actuation and smooth key strokes, the stabilizers are excellent and it's gratifying to press space and backspace. Simple gratifications, but you use those keys so often it's definitely a nice touch. I feel like I paid a lot for this keyboard, but then again it's plug and play and you end up with an above average keyboard with out having to sweat out building your own.
